Work Experience

Developed a variety of assets to support existing clients and onboarding new clients. Created Wireframes, prototypes and conceptualized design ideas. Engaged in collaborative critiquing of design work and brainstorming solutions. Worked across a number of teams and stakeholders that included SEO, Content, Developers, Partnership Relations and Leadership. Utilized data such as heatmaps, scroll maps, funnels and recordings to make meaningful insights about visitor behavior.

Lead UI/UX Designer and front-end developer to bring a new dimension of creative sophistication to the university's central web properties.

Take existing and new content on the School of Nursing website and enhance the visual appeal with images, graphics, and layout. Serve as part of the web design team designing and building pages/sites and providing custom design work, as needed. Create web pages that engage users and provide a positive user experience. Design visual website imagery, ensuring that they are in line with UMSN’s branding. Maintain the appearance of website by enforcing content, brand and style standards.

Primary designer for all web projects. Additionally, I build many of the sites I've designed. My role includes mentoring and guiding junior designers, advocating for accessibility, practicing kind and inclusive design, and communicating best practices for the web to all of our campus partners.

Participated in and executed the College of Engineering brand refresh, designed and built the front end for a new News Center, events site, and five department themes, designed and retrofitted engin.umich.edu to be responsive, design and built fully responsive emails for the college and six departments.

Responsible for Bonnier Motocycle Group digital properties, Photography group, redesigned and worked with front end developers for UX/UI tweaks and enhancements. Lead designer for the Outdoor Group’s long form editorial features. I was also sent to work in Vilinius, Lithuania for a business daily newspaper in their web department for 3 months.
